Back To Durban

Durban is my favorite place in the world! I grew up here and it will always be home. It is situated on the East Coast of South Africa and is the largest port city in Africa. The city is situated right on the coast of the Indian Ocean. It is warm all year round and has arguably the best weather in the world. With winter being the best time of year since it never gets lower than 60F and averages 70F all winter long.

Durban is a semi tropical city that was first discovered by the Portuguese but later settled by the English. It has a large ethnic population of Zulus who have lived in the area for a few hundred years. The coastline of Durban is spectacular and is still relatively untouched. You will find a few houses on the beach but nothing like Europe or California. It must be one of the last places on earth with a beautiful coastline that still has ocean property that has not been heavily developed.
