These trays are from Zululand, South Africa. They are made from an indigenous wood there called Umzithi wood. They have all been hand-carved from the Zulu people of South Africa. Every one of these bowls or trays have been bought at fair prices and directly help to support a group of Zulu crafters. These platters can be used functionally or decoratively.
